 The Three Valleys Steam Railway is a 14 km long Belgian standard gauge tourist railway, created in 1973, which operates in the Walloon Region , notably the Mariembourg - Treignes section of line 132 ( Charleroi to Vireux-Molhain , in France ). It has a significant collection of historic railway rolling stock from several countries, and organizes an annual steam festival that is popular with many enthusiasts.

We invite you to visit the beautiful village of Petigny, known as the village of "stones and water". A rallying point for most of the sights within the magnificent Entre-Sambre-et-Meuse National Park. Our house is located at the intersection of Rue Général de Monge, Caillou d'eau and Chemin de campagne Savary. What evocative names! For us, everything revolves around lived experience, authenticity, folklore and the typical character of the villages in the Couvin area. The deliberately contemporary "low energy" home is part of a lifestyle that respects nature and is economical in its use of resources. Upstairs, 3 comfortable bedrooms await you, each equipped with either a double bed or, on request, twin beds, a sitting area with screen and free WIFI, a private bathroom including a spacious walk-in shower, a sink and a toilet. In the early morning, a hearty breakfast made with local products awaits you. The table d'hôtes is possible but only on Saturday evening upon prior request as stipulated on the online booking in conjunction with the overnight stay.
